We know how much fun it is to drive 4×4’s off-road (you can read our post about it) but we also know it can feel overwhelming when it’s not something you’ve done much of before. From understanding the basics of how your vehicle works, exploring how this all translates to muddy, uneven and loose surfaces, to knowing where you can legally drive. It can be a steep learning curve.
Let us help and arrange a private one-to-one half-day of 4×4 off-road driving down in South Devon, where you get to use your own 4x4. We can curate the time to maximise what you want to get out of it. We start the day with an initial briefing and chat, using this as an opportunity to refresh ourselves on how our 4x4s work and why. We then head out on to suitable green lanes to start exploring some of the off-road capabilities of your 4x4. Honestly, it’s very impressive what they can do!
Our lead guide is LANTRA trained and certified in 4×4 vehicle operating, alongside a lifetime of driving and exploring the world in 4×4 vehicles. You’re in a safe pair of hands.

Our half day will typically run for around 4 hours and can be arranged for either the morning or afternoon. We typically meet near Haytor, Dartmoor.

- All-terrain tyres
- Spare wheel with tools to change
- Breakdown cover
- Valid MOT and tax
- Suitable recovery points front and rear
- Vehicle insurance that cover green lanes
