A day on Dartmoor’s green lanes does something a meeting room can’t. Whether it’s a team day, a client event, a film shoot or a group of friends after an adventure, I plan the route, the logistics and the driving so you can enjoy it.
I’m LANTRA approved in 4×4 driving and a Green Lane Association affiliated guide, so every route is legal, planned with safety in mind, and pitched at the right level for the people on it.

Corporate and team days
Guided 4×4 days for staff, clients or teams. We can run them on Dartmoor’s legal green lanes or on your own private land, with instruction built in for complete beginners and experienced drivers alike.
Film, media and brand shoots
Routes, locations and 4×4 driving support for productions and brands that need vehicles in wild places. I create 4×4 content myself, so I know what a shoot needs from a location and a driver. For brand content and product work, see product and media collaboration.
Private group tours
Single days or multi-day tours for friends, families and clubs, with bespoke routes, camps and fire-side cooking. I know Devon, Wales and Salisbury Plain particularly well, and can plan routes further afield in the UK.

Whether you are looking to arrange a single day event or multi-nights tour, we can help plan the logistics, route and take care of any bookings required.
4×4 driving instruction
Our LANTRA 4×4 approved guides are able to provide practical and real-world instruction and advice. Covering 4×4 driving techniques, recovery and risk assessment.
Bespoke routes
We can put together completely bespoke routes and tours, taking in the type of scenery and driving challenge you’re after. We can help plan routes and tours in the UK and Europe, with particularly in-depth knowledge of Devon, Wales and Salisbury Plain.
Wild-style camps
Overlanding is not about luxury 5-star hotels but being in amongst beautiful nature and wilderness. Whilst we don’t condone wild-camping, we are able to help find and arrange legitimate campsites that provide a more wild-camping experience with the ability for camp fires.
We can help organise hotels and more luxurious sleeping arrangements if preferred.
Travel advice
Our guides have been on many 4×4 trips from here in the UK to travelling across the New Zealand islands. Experienced with travelling with three young children, we can provide usable and no-nonsense tips and advice for any trips you are going on.
Fire-side cooking
The camp fire is the heart of any good camp. From providing warmth and meditation, it also allows us to cook. From one-pot wonders to flame-grilled meat, everything tastes better when out in the elements.
We can help organise and hire a professional chef that specialises in open-fire cooking using locally sourced ingredients.
Questions about events
Can you run an event on our own land?
Yes. As well as Dartmoor’s legal green lanes, we can plan and run a guided 4×4 day on your own private land. It’s worth bearing in mind that on top of our costs are those of the one-off event insurance to factor in.
Can you supply vehicles?
If we’re out in public spaces then no. You’ll need to be able to bring your own capable 4x4s.
For events on private land there is the potential for us to be able to supply our own fleet of vehicles to be driven.
Are your guides qualified?
Yes. Dan is LANTRA approved in 4×4 driving and a Green Lane Association affiliated tour guide. Instruction covers 4×4 driving techniques, recovery and risk assessment.
Where can events take place?
Mostly Devon and Dartmoor, with in-depth knowledge of Wales and Salisbury Plain too. We can plan routes and tours across the UK.
Can you arrange food and somewhere to stay?
Yes. We can find campsites with a wilder feel and camp fires, book hotels if you’d like more comfort, and arrange a professional chef who cooks over an open fire with local ingredients.
Can you help with a film or photo shoot?
