Private days of 4×4 driving in South Devon and Dartmoor

We know how much fun it is to drive 4×4’s off-road (you can read our post about it) but we also know it can feel overwhelming when it’s not something you’ve done much of before. From understanding the basics of how your vehicle works, exploring how this all translates to muddy, uneven and loose surfaces, to knowing where you can legally drive. It can be a steep learning curve.

We can use a beautiful private woodland down on the South coast of Devon to help you explore what you and your vehicles capabilities are in a safe, controlled environment. We can take you around the woodland in our own 4×4 first, showing you how to read the terrain and what considerations you need when driving off-road. Once we’ve done this we head out in your own 4×4, with us on hand to talk you through how to take full advantage of what your 4×4 vehicle can do. Honestly, it’s very impressive what they can do!

Even if you have previous experience driving 4×4’s, our woodland is a great opportunity for us to see how confident you are and where your capabilities lie. If we are to head out to explore local green lanes, this helps us to pick the most suitable green lanes to drive both for you and your vehicle.
